Vintage Mongoose BMX Fork 20in 1979 Tange MX 1 In Threaded Old School Japan Vintage Mongoose Tange MX steel BMX fork for 20in wheels, rigid design with silver finish. Fits 20in wheel with 1 in threaded steerer for old school BMX frames, front caliper brake hole at fork crown. Steerer tube is stamped 'MX / TANGE 9K / MADE IN JAPAN' and carries the original 'INSTALLATION NOTE' decal. Actual Measurements: Weight: 895 g Fork only; headset, axle and other components are not included. From an OG 79-80 Mongoose BMX. Forks are painted. Straight with good threads. Stamped Tange 9K

Wheel Size: 20in. 1" Threaded Steerer. Fork is bent aback a bit, not easy to see when installed. Dropouts show axle wear and nicks. Steerer threads are dirty with a filed or flattened section.

Steerer is stamped AKISU 92 and the dropouts feature stamped P logos. Dropouts show axle wear and finish loss, and the fork legs appear straight. Fork only; no headset, axle or other hardware included.
