Because truing is done from the head side with contact on all four sides, it can take more pressure. Building can be done strictly on the head side of the nipple or the traditional side of nipple and future touch up truing can be done from the traditional side of the nipple. The required tool is a 3.2mm nipple driver. New, includes FREE alloy nipples (1 nipple for each spoke) DT Aerolite is the lightest flat spoke in the DT Swiss spoke range with excellent aerodynamic characteristics and a very high stability. The center piece is first reduced and butted to a light 1.5 mm during the cold forging process and subsequently it is bladed. DESCRIPTION......... You are purchasing 14g (2.0mm) Brass bicycle spoke nipples. You choose the amount, length and color. The length represents the overall length of the nipple. Why different lengths? Some rims have thicker sections therefore requiring a longer section to protrude through the rim so you can get a wrench on it.
