Shimano HG compatible freehub will work with HG cassettes from 7 speed to 12 speed, however on a tandem I would never run more than a 10speed cassette as the chains for 11-13sp are too weak to handle the power of a tandem.

This is pre-owned. It has normal wear and tear on the front rim. I do not have the proper bike pump. Missing the center wheel lock and screws.
