Lightweight DT Swiss Aerolite 2.0mm Bladed J-Bend Aero Spokes – Silver, 282mm

DT aerolite is the lightest flat spoke in the DT Swiss spoke range with excellent aerodynamic characteristics and a very high stability. The center piece is first reduced and butted to a light 1.5 mm during the cold forging process and subsequently it is bladed. This process again increases the strength of the material and generates the flat shape. This spoke fits hubs with standard spoke holes.Single J-bend spoke, nipple not included. Double Butted: 2.0/0.9/2.0. No hub slotting necessary: blade is 2.3mm wide. One 264mm spoke = 4.3g. Nipples sold separately. DT Swiss Alpine III Spoke 2.0mm 1.8mm 2.34mm 282mm J Bend Black Individual

DT Alpine III is the spoke with the lowest weight in relation to its stability. This is accomplished through a complex production process. Starting with a spoke of 2.34 mm, the diameter is reduced at the thread to 2 mm and to 1.8 mm in the middle section during the cold forging process. This allows weight savings of 173g (per 64 spokes) when compared to spokes with a constant 2.34mm diameter. Despite the light center piece, DT Alpine III is very durable and is perfectly suited for the big loads occurring in high performance e-bike or tandem wheels. Triple Butted: 2.34/1.8/2.0. Requires hub with 2.5mm or larger spoke hole. Single J-bend spoke, nipple not included. One 264mm spoke = 6.5g.
