Vintage Sunshine BMX Front Hub High Flange 36h Alloy 36 Hole Race Nut 70s 80s Brand: Sunshine Item: Vintage 5345 front BMX bicycle hub with high flanges and 36 spoke holes. Material: Alloy aluminum hub shell with steel axle, nuts, and washers. Details: High-flange design with multiple drilled spoke holes, nutted axle setup suitable for classic road or track bike wheel builds. Actual Measurements (per digital scale): Weight 205 g. Low to no miles on this one, it's possible it has not been laced. Light oxidation and discoloration on axle nuts, washers, and around one flange. Bearings and axle are intact, and hub may benefit from fresh grease before riding use.

36 spoke. Low flange. 100 mm OLD Over Locknut Dimension. Quick Release. 1977. Overhauled 2004; not used since. New grade 25 ball bearings & Grease. Slight gauling in ball cup. Minor click feel in rotation. Very few scratches- see photos.

Vintage 27in wheelset featuring Araya winged logo rims in polished silver, laced to Sunshine hubs. 36 spokes. Rims say 27x1-1/4 but these are narrow/racing style rims for the time period. Wheels are in very good used condition, ready to ride. No tires or tubes included.

Spaced ~130mm for MTB, likely could be respaced for old school BMX. Spoke drilling and axle style: 36 spoke holes per hub and bolt-on axles suited for standard bicycle dropouts. Spins well. Part type and use: sealed bearing hubs for building front and rear 36 hole bicycle wheels with rim brakes, with one rear hub using a threaded freewheel body.
