Mounting tab, link plates, and pivot hardware exhibit paint loss, small nicks, oxidation spots, and light surface corrosion, plus embedded dirt around the spring and joints. Pivots move through their range by hand but internal parts may benefit from cleaning and lubrication before installation, and shifting function has not been tested on a bicycle.
