Item for sale is a kids bike derailleur guard in good used condition. This bolts to the drive side of the bicycle near the dropout (above the rear derailleur) and keeps the derailleur from getting bent when your kid throws the bike down on the drive side. When he/she does this, it quite often knocks the derailleur out of alignment and so the bike no longer shifts correctly. When mounted, this piece prevents that from happening. The other alternative is to take the bike to the shop every time and pay for an expensive tune up. Make sure you can mount this on your kids bike before buying- not all frames have this option.
