What I have for your consideration is a 1999 GT SPEED SERIES 44 t CHAINRING. GT had alot of really sharp CNC products in 1999. And the chain ring was no exception. CNCed so that when you were riding your bike, the sun would catch those specific areas.  this one was powder coated so obviously I stripped the Powder Coat. And I wet sanded starting at 240!and stopping at 1500. Then I cut buff and polished to get the finish You see here. Finally, I laid down the spec vinyl transfers. This is nice It’s an honest piece that won’t break the bank.
