If the original hook surface on the arm rests is in good condition and does well holding the pads in place, there is no need to replace it. If replacing the original Velcro® hook material on your arm rests, make sure to wash off any dirt, scrape off all the adhesive with the included plastic scraper, and use the alcohol wipes to remove any oils.
