NOS/New/Unmounted early 80s Nitto MT-1 Mountain Bike Stem, made in Japan. The removeable top plate allows clamping of handlebars with crossbars. Very hard to find these NOS and perfect. Would be ideal for your klunker bike.

Heavy duty stem, in great condition. All bolts, washers, stem parts are present and in good condition. About 75 mm reach. Big bolts like a BMX stem.
