Bearings spin smoothly and the retention mechanism works exactly as it should. Cosmetic wear is consistent with normal use, but there are no cracks, damage, or mechanical issues. I recently switched to SPD-style pedals and no longer ride road-specific cleats, so these are no longer being used.
