Features Cable Diameter:The cable has a diameter of 1.6 mm, providing a strong and reliable connection for effective braking. Outer Casing:Liner=2p: This indicates a dual-layer liner inside the outer casing, which helps reduce friction and ensures smooth and responsive braking. The outer casing is durable and designed to protect the inner cable from wear and tear. Nipple Sizes:The cable includes two different nipple sizes (7x6 mm and 6x10 mm), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of brake levers and calipers. Style:BMX: Ideal for the high-demand braking of BMX bikes, which often require quick and responsive braking.MTB: Suitable for mountain bikes, providing the durability and reliability needed for off-road conditions.Track: Appropriate for track bikes, where precise braking is essential. Use:The cable is versatile and can be used for both front and rear brake setups, offering flexibility in installation. Brand:AltaLine: Known for producing high-quality bike components, AltaLine focuses on durability and performance, ensuring that their brake cables meet the demands of various riding styles and conditions.Usage and Installation Installation:Preparation: Measure and cut the cable to the desired length if necessary, using proper cable cutters to ensure a clean cut.Threading: Insert the inner cable through the outer casing, ensuring the liner is correctly in place to minimize friction.Attachment: Attach the appropriate nipple size to the brake lever and caliper, securing the cable firmly.Adjustment: Adjust the cable tension to achieve the desired brake feel and performance. Ensure the brakes engage smoothly and effectively. Maintenance:Regular Inspection: Check the cable and outer casing regularly for signs of wear or damage.Lubrication: Occasionally lubricate the inner cable to maintain smooth operation, especially if riding in wet or muddy conditions.Ideal UseBMX Bikes: Provides the responsive braking needed for BMX riding, whether in street, park, or dirt settings.Mountain Bikes: Ensures reliable braking performance on trails, helping riders handle steep descents and technical sections.Track Bikes: Offers precise braking control, essential for high-speed track cycling.
