Bontrager Race XXLS Mountain Bike Early 90’s. Carver Fork

Freshly powder coated Bontrager XXLS frame and Carver fork. XXLS is double extra large stretch sizing and has a slightly longer top tube than a XXL, which is comparable to other brands XL frame sizing at the time. Being a responsible Bontrager seller and including “anti chain suck thingy” and hardware… has seat collar and brake bolts, but you may need to acquire sleeves to run rear brakes. Headtube has some minor scuffs from rubbing on concrete, ugh, but it’s a mountain bike and hopefully will be ridden as one. Will possibly rub out… Would love to see this go to a new home and get built and ridden. I have a couple others and love the heck out of these bikes. This one is just a bit too large for me!! Vintage 26in MTB Tange Switchblade Forks

First things first, I am not a bike expert in any way. But I can tell you these came off of a salvaged Haro Extreme Comp mountain bike frame from the late 80s/early 90s. Image search helped guide me to these being period correct and sometimes installed on this particular model. These is no discernible stamping or decals but there are heart shaped welding marks near the top of the tubes as shown which are associated with Tange. The threads look clean and weren’t binding when disassembling. Paint is chipped and could use some restoration for your vintage project. The steering tube is 5 inches from the top on the tube to the fork head. I’ll do my best to answer any questions. Thanks for looking!
