these were on an old vintage road bike and painted to match the bike. they can be stripped and polished out as they are alloy. I will leave that up to you. still work as intended, little bit of rust, not noticeable as it's under the clamp

Vintage Shimano 600 Arabesque Downtube Friction Shifter Clamp On Road Japan

No clamp bolt. Alloy lever blades show scratches, nicks, and dulling of the finish with decal and logo wear; clamp band, pivot hardware, and slotted tension screws have oxidation, surface rust, and plating loss, and the black plastic friction washers display surface cracking.
