2020 Shinamo SLX M7100 Hydraulic Disc Brake Set Front&Rear Rotors Optional Shinamo SLX M7100 Brake Set Just as mountainbiking and its riders are constantly evolving, Shimano is permanently striving to provide athletes with innovative materials for an unprecedented riding experience. The SLX M7100 series has been developed for these mountainbikers who want to explore new adventures and adapts - typically Shimano - the technologies of the high-end XTR group. These innovations include 12-speed drivetrain, Micro Spline and Hyperglide+ which have already proven themselves on Deore XT series. Shimano SLX BL-M7100 brake leverThe hydraulic SLX BL-M7100 brake lever is characterized by Shimano's SERVOWAVE technology which improves the lever's modulation ability. Because the brake lever absorbs a lot of braking distance right at the start of its movement, the brake pads have disc contact more quickly and it remains more lever travel to adjust braking force. That is why SERVO WAVE brake systems are characterized by faster response, higher performance and shorter idle travel.Shimano SLX BR-M7100 disc brake caliperWith its 2-piston construction, the Shimano SLX BR-M7100 Postmount brake caliper is perfect for Cross Country use. Compared to its predecessor a quicker piston retraction leads to superior modulation what results in an improved braking control. The brake pads in combination with the light 2-piston caliper guarantee extremely good deceleration. The higher heat dissipation of the aluminum helps to reduce the surface temperature of the rotor by around 100 degrees Celsius. Optional Ice-Tech brake pads with aluminum cooling fins can reduce the brake pad surface temperature by another 50 degrees. The result is high stopping power and practically no signs of fading!Made In Japan, but Chinese factory made Payment1. We accept PayPal only.2.
