This type of chain is commonly used on single-speed bicycles, including lowrider, BMX, cruiser, and city bikes. The S410 model is known for its durability and reliability, ensuring smooth and consistent pedaling performance for single-speed setups.Size:1/2 x 1/8 inch:1/2-inch pitch refers to the distance between the chain's pins, a standard measurement for bicycle chains.1/8-inch width refers to the internal width of the chain, which is compatible with single-speed drivetrains, including fixed gear, coaster brake hubs, and single-speed freewheels. The 1/8-inch width ensures compatibility with chainrings, cogs, and sprockets designed for single-speed systems, providing a smooth engagement with the drivetrain.Link Count:112 Links: The chain comes with 112 links, which provides enough length to fit most standard single-speed bikes. If necessary, the chain can be shortened by removing links to fit smaller frames or specific gear configurations. The link count is ideal for single-speed bikes with a standard chainstay length, ensuring proper tension and chain alignment.Speed:1-Speed: This chain is specifically designed for 1-speed bicycles, which have only one gear ratio. It is commonly used on bikes like lowriders, BMX bikes, and cruisers that do not have derailleur systems or multiple gears. The chain's construction is optimized for single-speed operation, ensuring low friction and smooth pedaling under different riding conditions.Color:Chrome: The chain is finished in a chrome color, giving it a clean and understated appearance. The chrome finish not only enhances the chain's aesthetic but also provides a layer of protection against rust and corrosion, ensuring the chain remains functional and attractive over time.Brand:AltaLine: The chain is manufactured by AltaLine, a brand known for producing high-quality components for bicycles, particularly lowriders and custom bikes. AltaLine chains are recognized for their durability, smooth operation, and reliable performance, making them a popular choice among single-speed bike riders.
