This is a front rack for bikes with front brake posts. It's meant to bolt to the canti brake bosses, and I've seen it done both where the brakes were removed and where the brakes just bolted on top of the rack flanges. Not sure how safe the latter is, but it looked slick. This rack has never been used but has a few slight scratches from sitting in my garage for a long time. You'll need some strap or hangar to connect to your head tube or fork or something so that the rack doesn't tilt down (I seem to have lost whatever came with the rack originally).
