NOS, unused, unmounted 50s-70s Campagnolo Bottom Bracket Gray Housing Piece for Rear Shift Cable, ref. 617 made in Italy. Gray rubber casing, stainless inner housing with original Campagnolo end caps. 21cm. in length, for use with Campagnolo 626 down tube housing stop, other downtube stop, or braze-on bottom bracket housing stops. This is the piece that goes from the downtube housing stop to the chainstay housing stop. Many frames like Raleigh and many French frames used housing stops on the downtube and chainstay to eliminate the need for a rear derailleur housing stop clamp.
