This adapter can be installed on Presta or Dunlop valves.Then a user can use a regular US pump the bike tubes can be inflated. Most US car and bike tires use Schrader valves. If you have a Presta valve, you may have to loosen the Presta valve cap nut a little, by turning it counter-clockwise. Do not loosen it too much, so the air may not escape, and you can pump the air into the tire. Then install this adapter, turn it clockwise. After that you can use a regular US pump to inflate a tire. After you finish inflate the tire, you may remove the adapter, and you have to turn Presta valve cap nut clockwise to tighten it to avoid the leaking of air. If you have a Dunlop valve, make sure tighten dunlop valve cap nut by turning it clockwise. Then install this adapter, turn it clockwise. Hence you can use a regular US pump to inflate a tire. You can leave the adapter on your tires for convenience of pumping air.
