The derailleur may well be new, I can find no signs of wear on the inside of the cage, however it does have many small marks from years of storage, including at least 10 years in my garage. There are a couple of tiny nicks to the top arm which can be seen in the pictures.

a mechanic, somewhere along the way, let his tool slip and damaged the freewheel tools tab. purely cosmetic. was still able to be removed Not too much use on the teeth, however if you've got a good ear, youll notice some dust has made it way into the bearings. Still useable as is, however its something that should be known to the buyer. All sales go directly into the bank account of a 501c3 registered non profit, Bike Saviours, in Tempe, Arizona.
